ABOUT ALISON:
Alison Jane Hodder, the winemaker from Down Under whose forebears were early colonial settlers in the Barossa Valley wine region, learnt her craft through spells with the producers Stanley-Leasingham, Merrivale, Leo Buring and Settlement in various wine districts of South Australia, all the while cultivating her great passion for Shiraz.
With a degree in oenology from Australia and post-graduate studies in viticulture in Torino, and after spending a lifetime in world agriculture, AJ eventually materialised her long-held vision for crafting original wines from a sustainable vineyard in Tuscany.
